2026 Continuing Professional Development Courses (CPD)

The Australian School of Remedial Therapies Continuing Professional Education (CPE) or Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses are recognised for CPE Points by professional associations including ANTA, ATMS, AMT,  AAMT and MA.
Health Fund provider agreements and professional massage associations require massage therapy practitioners to complete a minimum of 20 hours / 20 CPE points per year. Please check with your association as some may vary. ​All professional development courses are conducted as face to face training.

January 2026 Courses

Dry Needling Therapy 
Most comprehensive Dry Needling Therapy course including face to face practical training and clinical application practice with highly qualified trainer over 30 years of teaching and practicing experience on both Western and Eastern therapeutic fields. 
The practical dry needling working manual will be provided.
Prerequisites:
  • Applicants must hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher
Course Overview:
  • Learn to safely deactivate Trigger Points with commonly used fine needles to the limbs, back and neck regions for effective therapeutic results. 
  • Safety clinical scenario practical guide for apply the dry needles to treat neuromuscular conditions, sport injuries and rehabilitation. 
  • Application of electro-intramuscular stimulation to achieve long lasting remedial outcomes.  
  • Upon successfully completing the course, the training certificate will be issued.  The certificate will be entitled to apply professional practice insurance of dry needling therapy under your current remedial therapy practice as well as yearly CPE points requirement.
